Example packet

Fall cookie dough fundraiser example

A PTO chair compares cookie kit revenue, extra donations, a spirit-night add-on, vendor costs, supplies, prizes, and payment fees.

  • $2,668.62 net profit.
  • $19.06 profit per participant or selling unit.
  • $268.62 above the entered profit goal.

Assumptions

What the numbers assume

  • Use summary revenue and cost totals, not buyer names, donor private contacts, student data, card details, bank details, or tax IDs.
  • For each revenue or cost row, enter either a unit count with its price or cost, or one trusted row total.
  • Blank numeric fields count as zero. Negative values are treated as zero and flagged for review.
  • The participant or selling-unit count is for a rough per-participant or per-unit result; fractional counts are rounded down.
  • This is a planning worksheet. Official accounting, tax decisions, deposits, receipts, and approvals stay in your normal systems.
